Hey friend! Recently I did a full Illustrating Bible video review. Last week I went on to create a Journaling Bible Paper Thickness video which many of you found really helpful. I then tested 86 pens in the Illustrating Bible and even did an Illustrating Bible art supplies test! Today, it’s what you all love from me so much… a creative devotional with tutorial. Let’s get this Illustrating Bible devotional started! Hey friend! I’ve had SOOO many questions about the Illustrating Bible. The paper is 75% thicker than traditional Journaling Bible paper. It seems natural that I should do an Illustrating Bible supplies test with the favorite supplies we all love and/or want to use for Bible journaling. Hello Everyone! Welcome to lesson 10 in the Bible Art Journaling Challenge series, Heaven Is Calling! I thought it was long overdue, for me to talk with you about Bible journaling on a budget. I’ve got a simple idea for you, that is great for when you’re squeezed for time and it’s easy enough for anyone to make it their own.

You might remember, I am trying to catch up with my regular weekly posts for the Bible Art Journaling Challenge. Earlier this week, I posted what should have been last week and now, I am posting what would have been on Tuesday this week. I am mostly back on track to feeling 100%, but I am pacing myself. I am hoping to have enough time to have this coming Tuesday’s challenge, back on schedule.

Many of you have told me not to bother catching up. But, I said I would do a weekly challenge and I always want to be a person of my word. I don’t want to finish the year, one week short of what I set out to start. It’s just how I roll. And no, this isn’t me spilling the beans, about if this Bible Art Journaling Challenge will be happening next year. You’ll just have to stick around to find out what fun is in the making! 😉

Neocolor II Watercolor Crayons

I have shared Neocolor II watercolor crayons with you before. Search my Neocolor II blog posts, to see those posts with video tutorials! As was pointed out to me recently, watercolor can sometimes look quite, well, watered down. When I look at artwork like that, I just want to cry out, “Where is the color!?!” Only kidding. Hello Everyone! It is week 32 of the Bible Art Journaling Challenge! So, if you’ve been following me long, you know I’m a little obsessed with neon these days. I try not to use it all the time, so I don’t bore you to tears with my enjoyment of bright. Balance is always good. 🙂 Today though, it really fit the bill. I’m talking about worship and when I think of worship, I pretty much find myself wanting to worshipfully twirl in wide open spaces with abandon, like a blissful kid of THE King of all. Bright neon red, orange, pink and yellow scraped over the surface of my page with… yes… Illustrated Faith stamps. It just fit today.
