Hello Everyone! Welcome to lesson 5 of The Beginning! Throughout this series of the Bible Art Journaling Challenge, we’re looking at key scriptures to understand the Bible story, while focusing on a select few supplies which any beginner can gain confidence with. This marked a moment in history that literally changed everything. I’m excited to study this with you! Throughout this series of the Bible Art Journaling Challenge, we’re looking at key scriptures in the Bible story, while focusing on a select few supplies which any beginner can gain confidence with. In lesson 1 you learned some Bible art journaling colored pencil basics, while we talked about how God, (the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the Father of Jesus), is the first and the last. In this lesson I’ll be sharing more tips for Bible art journaling coloring, while focusing on the topic of covenants, the next part of the Bible story we’re tying together in this series.

Hello Everyone! Welcome to lesson 1 of The Beginning! In this series of the Bible Art Journaling Challenge we’re getting the start we’ve always needed. Throughout the series, we’re looking at key scriptures in the Bible story, while focusing on a select few supplies which any beginner can gain confidence with. In this lesson of The Beginning Bible Art Journaling Challenge, I’ll be sharing simple colored pencil tracing for Bible art journaling with a look at our first of 6 sections of scripture which help us tie the Bible story together.

Hey friend! I’ve had SOOO many questions about the Illustrating Bible. The paper is 75% thicker than traditional Journaling Bible paper. After a busy season last year, I am grateful to be running a new and exciting schedule, which also has given me some space to rest. I am nearly recovered which is on schedule with others in my local area, who had the same thing I got. While the cold delayed my progress on my upcoming online classes, I’m chipping away at them in the background and will be so excited to share them as they come together.

Hello Everyone! Welcome to week 34 of the Bible Art Journaling Challenge! This week I am staying On The Margin of my Bible, while we continue to talk about rest. I feel like so many people get confused about this topic. The Bible encourages us to make our life count for the Kingdom of God and yet it tells us to rest. People often wear themselves out trying to ensure they’ve made their life count for Him. God is not a slave driver. In fact, He considers it an act of obedience, to rest. Being lazy is not something we should do, nor is working ourselves to a point of worthlessness. Balance is key.

Rest is an important enough topic, that we see God resting after six days of creation and we see Jesus modeling rest to His disciples. God knows that we are at our best for Him, when we come refreshed and prepared to give 100% of ourselves to what is in front of us. We cannot give 100% if we wear ourselves out by constant doing. Let’s be in His presence today and let it refresh us, so we can be ready to give our all to the tasks before us.
