Hello Everyone! Welcome to week 49 of the Bible Art Journaling Challenge! We are super close to the end of the year now! While the Bible Art Journaling Challenge will look different next year, it won’t be going away. Yet, I am close to finishing up this first year and can hardly believe how quickly the time has passed. I always find that time passes quickest, when we are living [click to continue…]
Hello Everyone! Welcome to week 48 of the Bible Art Journaling Challenge! For several months now, I’ve been wanting the time to test out an idea to share with you. I thought for sure there must be a way to emboss Bible pages. Not using embossing powder. I’m talking about actually adding dimension to the Bible paper itself. Though both are beautiful.
My time investment since August in this upcoming class I’ve been developing with Scrapbook.com, has prevented me from having the time to test out new ideas and instead, rely on sharing what I already know. I’ve only had my YouTube channel and this blog, really properly going since [click to continue…]
Hello Everyone! Welcome to week 47 of the Bible Art Journaling Challenge! I have found myself thinking about how gratefulness is a key to breakthrough in our lives. There are some tough things going on in the lives of many I know. Yet, remaining grateful in the midst of difficulty, is key. Not for those terrible things. Nobody needs to be thankful for tragedy or hardship. But we need to be grateful [click to continue…]

Hello Everyone! Welcome to week 46 of the Bible Art Journaling Challenge! I’m starting this post sitting in a coffee shop in downtown Portland, Oregon, USA, where the atmosphere is buzzing with activity and life. A fun place to write for a change. I filmed a tutorial for this Bible Art Journaling Challenge, before I left England and am writing while away from the studio. I am grateful for the opportunity to do something I passionately love, which allows me the flexibility of still being in touch with you while traveling. It is hard work but well worth every minute of it.
Last week I did not have time to share a post, because I was at the Scrapbook.com studio in Phoenix, Arizona. After many weeks of work behind the scenes, we spent 5 long days filming a great class in the studio. I’ll share a blog post about it when I’ve returned from my trip. I’ve come to Portland to visit family for Thanksgiving and will be taking the week off.
But enough of filling you in. I’ve got a little tutorial for you today as [click to continue…]
Hello Everyone! If you are signed up for my emails, you’ll have noticed that I mentioned yesterday I would be announcing some locations I’m traveling to. After some thought yesterday, I decided it would be most helpful to you if I put this in a blog post, rather than social media. So, here I am sharing some exciting news with you! I’ve been bursting to share this for months and so thrilled to now! You can finally know why I’ve been so busy! 🙂
And yes, I did say locations (more than one place!), so stick around [click to continue…]
Hello Everyone! Welcome to week 45 of the Bible Art Journaling Challenge! I’ve got a simple and fun little tutorial and devotional today. Anyone can put a little paint on an old plastic card and scrape it across the margin of their Bible page, before putting some stickers on it. I sometimes share artwork that is more advanced to inspire and encourage you to dig deeper, but I also love these simple tutorials which everyone feels excited to join in on with ease.
If you’ve been a crafter for long, you’re likely to have some chipboard stickers around. No worries if you don’t though. This could be lots of fun to just grab [click to continue…]
Hello Everyone! Welcome to week 44 of the Bible Art Journaling Challenge! I am so amazed that we are in November already. I feel like the year has flown by for me. I remember at the beginning of this year posting my first Bible Art Journaling Challenge, on January 6th and telling myself how much I was looking forward to the day, where I’d have at least 40-50 blog posts with videos. That would feel like I’d finally managed to get a start at sharing with you, some of the devotionals on my heart and some favorite Bible art journaling techniques and tools.
And here we are! I do feel like I’ve made that start and am so grateful for the journey I’ve been on with you as a beautiful growing community. And if you’re new to me, welcome! I hope you’ll grow to love [click to continue…]
