Acrylic paints are great for scraping a little color background onto your Bible journaling entry, or to paint an image in the margin of your Journaling Bible. The brand and type you use, is the difference between your pages sticking and covering Bible text, or being a beautiful addition to your creative time with God.
I only recommend heavy body acrylic paint, (which means it is thick) and prefer Liquitex Pro, or Dina Wakley acrylic paint, which are both a matte finish. Key for ensuring your Bible pages don’t have a tacky finish that can glue to an adjacent Bible page. These are sure to give you great results. Like all acrylic paint, it is not transparent until scraped thin across your surface. Click on any of these links to head over to a category page full of colors to choose from!
